You can pick up the phone and yarn with mob if you need help with how to deal with all sorts of worries including unpaid fines, Family Law issues, Child Protection matters, and any Criminal Law matters.

You can call Legal Yarn on 1800 319 803 on Mondays - Fridays from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm (WST), except public holidays.

Legal Yarn is a free and confidential call that can be made from any phone anywhere in Australia. We can give you information, help you get legal advice, or refer you to the best place to get help.

Legal Yarn opened on 1 June 2023.

If you are impacted by the regional court closures between 1 June and 28 August and you don’t think you can attend court in person, it’s important to let the court know. 

Your lawyer or Legal Aid WA can help you do this.

Contact your local Legal Aid WA office or the Legal Aid WA Infoline for advice and help.
