Leaving a will can help make sure your money and property is distributed in the way you want after you die. The executor of your will has to follow your instructions in managing and sharing your estate.
Many problems can arise after someone dies. There can be complications if the person has died without a will, if a will has not been made properly, or if a person wishes to challenge their share of an inheritance.
There can also be financial pressures, disputes about funerals, burial or cremation, and the legal rights of partners and family members if a death is investigated by the coroner.
