Summer Series CPD program

We're happy to announce that our 2026 Summer Series will be held from 11 – 13 February 2026 at the Duxton Hotel in Perth.

  • Wednesday 11 February 2026 - Family Law Day
  • Thursday 12 February 2026 - Criminal Law Day
  • Friday 13 February 2026 - Civil Law Day

Please note that this year you can register to attend in-person only. Our Summer Series has been extremely popular over the past few years and places are limited. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration is now open and will close on Friday 6 February 2026 at 5.00 pm (WST). 

Can’t make it on the day? Most sessions will be made available on Legal Aid WA’s TNT online learning management system a few weeks after the Summer Series has concluded.

What does each day cover?

Each day relates to a different area of law and offers the opportunity to earn Continuing Professional Development points in all four competency areas:

CA1: Practice Management and Business Skills
CA2: Professional/Barristers’ Skills
CA3: Ethics and Professional Responsibility, and
CA4: Substantive Law (including practice and procedure, and evidence for Barristers).

Registration is through Train-N-Track and closes on Friday 6 February 2026 at 5.00 pm.
