National Legal Aid has launched Family Violence Law Help, a new website for people affected by domestic and family violence.

Approximately one quarter of women in Australia have experienced at least one incident of violence by an intimate partner (ABS, 2017).

The Family Violence Law Help website is designed as a starting point to give simple, clear information on domestic and family violence, family law, child protection and domestic violence protection orders. It also has practical tips and links to where people affected by domestic and family violence can get help and advice in WA and Australia wide.

The website is also an important tool for frontline services working with people affected by domestic and family violence.
