Bugmy Bar Book

The Bugmy Bar Book is supported by National Legal Aid as part of its aim to support trauma informed and culturally safe services.

The Bugmy Bar Book is a publicly available resource that provides practical guidance to lawyers in a range of practice areas and jurisdictions.

It aims to support legal advocacy and decision making by providing evidence of the impacts of trauma, socioeconomic inequality, disadvantage and rehabilitation and the experiences of people who come into contact with the legal system.

While it is of particular use in sentencing, it has wide application in other areas of the legal system.

Temporary disruption to our web-based InfoChat operations.

The “Chat with us!” live chat function will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 am to 4 pm.
