NAIDOC Week: 3 - 10 July 2022

NAIDOC Week, 3-10 July 2022, is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements.

It is also an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society.  NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life.

NAIDOC stands for National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee. The national NAIDOC theme this year is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!

For an explanation of what this year’s theme means visit the NAIDOC website.

Also on the NAIDOC website you can find information on NAIDOC week events in WA
