What is Law Hub?

Law Hub houses Legal Aid WA’s internal resources which are used by Legal Aid WA lawyers and made available to private practitioners funded to perform work for Legal Aid WA and lawyers in the community legal sector.

What does Law Hub include?

The internal legal resources in Law Hub include Legal Essentials that cover specific legal topics, and Manuals that cover a field of legal practice. These are grouped under Legal Aid WA’s main service areas of criminal, family and civil law, and then further by general legal topic.

Alongside the internal resources there are links to Legal Aid WA’s publicly available resources that are otherwise accessible from the public website but are included in Law Hub for ease of access. For example, web pages, infosheets and self-help kits.

The Law Hub also includes:

  • Legal Alerts which are internal notifications about changes to the law and practice, with a focus on legislative changes in the areas of civil, criminal and family law.
  • Lawyers’ News which are internal notifications of general interest to lawyers, including information about changes to the resources available in Law Hub.
  • Health, safety and wellbeing information and resources for lawyers, including some internal resources created by Legal Aid WA.

Note, the links to Legal Alerts and Lawyers' News are only visible when you are logged in.
