Family and domestic violence - When Separating
Family and domestic violence is behaviour in an intimate or family relationship where one person tries to dominate and control the other. It can include physical, sexual, emotional, financial, social and psychological abuse.
Here are some of the support services available for people experiencing or at risk of family or domestic violence, including resources and services for men.

A 24-hour service for men who are concerned about their violent and abusive behaviours, or have themselves experienced family and domestic violence. The service can provide telephone counselling and referral to in person services if required. Men can also get information about where to find legal advice, accommodation and other support services if they have been served with a police order or violence restraining order.

A national 24-hour counselling, support and information service for Australian men. Their services are available over the phone and online, and can provide non-judgmental support for men wanting help with anger management and family violence. They offer behavioural change programs and ongoing support. They also offer support for men experiencing family and domestic violence. -
