Indigenous Law Student Program
The aim of the Indigenous Law Student Program is to provide Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander law students with the opportunity to get to know Legal Aid WA by undertaking voluntary work in our legal practice. Students will work alongside experienced lawyers to develop their legal skills and gain insight into the legal system, our clients, and our work culture.
This work experience program runs each year for two weeks (or equivalent). Times and dates will be negotiated to best fit with students' other commitments and our own capacity to provide suitable supervision and exposure. There is no set intake or application periods for this Program. Enquiries are welcome at any time during the year.
