Family and domestic violence is any form of physical, sexual, emotional or psychological abuse by one person to another, who are or have been in an intimate relationship. There are many support services available if you are experiencing family or domestic violence as shown below, however if you are in immediate danger, phone the Police on 000.

Women's Domestic Violence Helpline

This is a helpline for women experiencing the effects of family and domestic violence or abuse.  They can provide counselling and referrals, as well as assistance in a crisis


Men's Domestic Violence Helpline

If you are concerned that your behaviour might be affecting your family or other people around you, give Men's DV Helpline a call.


Crisis Care Helpline

(08) 9223 1111

1800 199 008 (country free call)

If you need urgent help or someone to talk to right away, call Crisis Care.  They can offer information and counselling over the phone and can help you find your way to safety if you are afraid.
