Duty Lawyers in Criminal Courts

  • The Duty Lawyer at Court

    Duty lawyers are available to provide advice and representation to people with criminal charges in most Magistrates Courts and Children's Courts. The duty lawyer can provide legal advice prior to court and can provide representation in court. Duty lawyers cannot represent people at trial.
